“Poes” means “cat” in Dutch, and while I’m not Dutch myself, part of my family is, this word feels very dear to me. I chose it in honour of my beloved cat Alma, whose gentle presence and sweet memories still inspire my art and remind me of the unconditional love we feel for our furry friends.
I love creating pieces that celebrate nature and its creatures, the places that stay with us, and the small joys that brighten our days.
